Let's Read Together

The program aims to significantly motivate children up to the age of 10 to discover the joy of reading and to develop a friendly relationship with books. For implementation, the following are important:
- Selecting appropriate books in collaboration with teachers and librarians, featuring captivating stories and memorable characters that match the age and interests of the children;
- Organizing regular reading sessions in class, where teachers or volunteers read passages from the chosen books;
- Involving older student volunteers to create a connection between different age groups and to provide examples of a passion for reading;
- Encouraging children to continue reading at home by providing them with books to borrow or sending books home; parents are involved and encouraged to participate in reading together with their children;
- Organizing classroom or small group discussion sessions where children talk about what they have read; teachers coordinate the discussions and encourage critical and analytical thinking;
- Involving older student volunteers to offer additional support and to inspire younger children;
- Organizing online or live meetings with children's authors, giving children the opportunity to interact with the creators of their favorite books;
- Organizing online debates on pre-established topics coordinated by teachers; the themes of the debates can be related to the books read or can explore more general aspects of children's literature;
- Offering rewards and prizes to children who read and actively participate in activities; watching a movie inspired by a book read could be one of the rewards;
- Collecting feedback from children, parents, and teachers to evaluate the impact of the program and adjust according to the needs and preferences of the participants.

This comprehensive program integrates multiple elements to create a stimulating and engaging experience for children, encouraging them to discover the wonderful world of books.
